About the Program

Join BOT Academy’s Tech Sales Cohort, a hands-on program designed to help professionals break into one of the fastest-growing and highest-earning roles in the technology industry.

Tech sales sits at the intersection of business, technology, and relationship building. It is a career path where performance, skill, and persistence matter more than traditional credentials—and where motivated professionals can grow quickly.

This six-week cohort will guide participants through the core foundations of modern tech sales, including how the industry works, the roles available, and the skills required to land and succeed in a role such as Sales Development Representative (SDR), Account Executive (AE), Sales Engineer, or Customer Success Manager.

Participants will leave the program with a clearer career path, improved professional positioning, and practical tools to confidently pursue opportunities in tech sales.

Program Instruction & Learning Environment

This cohort is led by experienced sales professionals and industry practitioners who understand what hiring managers look for when bringing new talent into modern tech sales teams.

Rather than focusing only on theory, the BOT Academy Tech Sales Cohort emphasizes practical, career-focused learning designed to help participants confidently transition into entry-level tech sales roles.

Throughout the program, participants will engage in interactive workshops, role-play exercises, and guided career development sessions that simulate real scenarios encountered by Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Account Executives (AEs), and other sales professionals.

BOT Academy’s approach focuses on:

Practical Skill Development
Participants will learn how tech sales professionals prospect, run discovery conversations, manage pipelines, and move opportunities forward.

Career Positioning
Students will refine their resumes, optimize their LinkedIn profiles, and develop a personal positioning strategy to stand out to hiring managers.

Real-World Simulation
Role-play scenarios, mock interviews, and outreach exercises will mirror the types of conversations and workflows professionals experience in real sales environments.

Industry Awareness
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the tech sales ecosystem, including the different roles, compensation structures, and growth opportunities available in the field.

Community & Accountability
The cohort model creates a collaborative environment where participants can learn alongside peers, share progress, and stay motivated throughout the program.
