Program structure

Three key stages of startup formation

  1. Foundation & Clarity

    Lay the groundwork by understanding the “why” behind your idea. Define the problem, research your target audience, and translate passion into a scalable concept. Includes mindset workshops, startup vs. small business modules, and early-stage peer discussions.

  2. Building the Blueprint

    Develop your business framework, organize ideas into a pitch deck, and understand core functions. Includes mentor-led sessions, recorded lessons, and practical exercises with partner tools.

  3. Storytelling & Readiness

    Craft a compelling narrative for investors and partners. Learn the essentials of cap tables, dilution, and early investor outreach. Includes investor readiness workshops, pitch practice sessions, and final reviews.

Incubator questions

Who is the Incubator for?

Early-stage founders in the ideation to pre-seed phase. The incubator is specifically designed for tech-enabled startups and is not a fit for small businesses, boutique agencies, or consulting practices.

How long is the Incubator and how is it delivered?

Six weeks, delivered as a virtual hybrid of live mentor sessions and recorded content, with sessions on Tuesdays following a Tuesday orientation. Cohort dates are announced ahead of each intake.

How much does the Incubator cost?

It is $250 for Orange County residents and $500 for non-Orange County residents. A limited number of $0 scholarship seats are available.

What happens after the Incubator?

The Incubator prepares founders for growth and feeds into the Tech Startup Launchpad Accelerator, which supports startups already in the growth phase.
