From Startup Program Graduate to Investor Showcase Finalist: Isabella’s Transformational Journey with BOT

For many early-stage startup founders, breaking into the tech ecosystem can feel intimidating. Finding the right community, mentorship, and opportunities often makes the difference between staying stuck and scaling successfully. That’s why stories like this matter.

About Isabella

Isabella Johnston is the founder and CEO of Employers 4 Change (E4C). E4C is an AI-powered recruitment platform that aligns intern talent with an employer's mission, values, and core skills. Isabella first connected with BOT during the transition of Canvas to Starter Studio. What started as a simple introduction quickly became a transformational experience.

Isabella’s Journey with BOT

After meeting Emily and later being introduced to Safia, Isabella started attending BOT events where she immediately felt something many entrepreneurs struggle to find in the startup world: genuine support.

“You will never feel like you don’t belong there. You absolutely belong there, and all of them will make you feel that way.”
— Isabella

Isabella enrolled in one of BOT’s startup programs, gaining not only resources and guidance but also confidence and a sense of community. After successfully graduating from the program, Isabella and her company were recommended for the Startup Grind Investor Showcase, a highly competitive opportunity that accepts only 150 startups out of more than 2,000 applicants worldwide.

Being accepted into such a prestigious startup investor program marked a major milestone in the journey and reinforced the power of having the right ecosystem behind emerging tech entrepreneurs.
